	1500chan, also known as ~~Brazil’s imageboard~~, is a ~~NAS Brappy~~ imageboard running on Vichan, the same thing that sites like Soyjak.party and Minions.gt.tc run on. ~~Despite being~~ created in ~~2023~~, the site is very popular, and is similar to Nairaland as sometimes it crashes because of how popular some of the boards are.		1500chan, also known as Caravela (referencing the ships used by the Portuguese Empire to colonize Brazil), and, before being renamed, as HUEChan, is a [[Brap\|Brazilian]] imageboard running on Vichan, the same thing that sites like Soyjak.party and Minions.gt.tc run on. It was created in 2013<ref>https://web.archive.org/web/20130509022316/http://1500chan.org/</ref>, following BRchan's closure (April 19th of the same year). It was founded by two individuals, N. and R., the former having experience as a mod on the previous *chan. Thanks to 55Chan and SFChan refugees (who migrated around 2020-2021), the site is very popular, and is similar to Nairaland as sometimes it crashes because of how popular some of the boards are. Its way of listing board links - all to the left - is more reminiscent to that of old 4chan than anything else.
