SoyBooru is a booru running on Shimmie2 a custom forum engine by Mustard that was made as a successor to the original OnionsBooru, which at the time was operated by a totally valid woman named lolkekkeklmaolmaolmaoxdhaha (also known as lolkek or lolkike by most Soyteens). Its two current administrators are Quote and Soysneed.[1] The culture is generally considered different from of soyjak.party, with certain events and trends happening mostly on the SoyBooru, examples being the Italo-Argentine War, The Greco-Turkish War, and, in more recent years, namefag copypasta spam in every post you see.
On 27/02/2026, around 19 UTC, the site was completely redesigned and Quotecord added a new forum built into the Booru[2]. Sounds familiar?
