I'm not redditor but Rye was extorting him allegedly when running the gacky (hence how he was able to run it, since he managed to pocket $200 out of redditor's pockets somehow) and he said this before. He only stopped talking when he got assurance that rye wasn't a threat, but rye was still able to extort him.
