Francis is literally just Boogie in real life, with Francis’s first appearance coming in the viral video “Francis professes his love to Charlene” where Francis does exactly that. Francis is corpulent, fat (Boogie2988 plus a fat suit), and is addicted to the popular soda that is Mountain Dew.
Boogie2988 would retire the Francis persona in 2020 due to being “bored”, or maybe realizing that Francis had turned into himself.
MEME
Around 2012, boogie decided to post a Francis skit called “WHERE IS MY GODDAMMED MOUNTAIN DEW! FUNNY ROFL SKIT!”. In it, boogie makes you remember how cringe internet memes were back in 2010s, with him mentioning a YTMND meme called “Don’t Tase Me Bro”, and former US president Barack Obama, by rubbing Faygo all across his face, and yelling “WHERE THE FUCK IS MY MOUNTAIN DEW!”. It became a INSTANT meme on /b/, where it was hailed as the beginning of Francis. It was popular for a short while before dying and fading into obscurity and now the only people who repost it are Oldfags probably still using Something Brappy and Erectpedo Disfunctiona.
