I advise you to stop using archive.today/archive.is/archive.ph/whatever, the owner tried to DDoS a website that made his clitty leak. Use Ghost Archive and megalodon.jp instead. Faggot (talk) 19:12, 19 February 2026 (UTC)

The thumbnail in question used to gross people out.

Elephant spam is a tatic used on the schlog and shroom that consists of going on the profile of someone you don't like and spamming a video of an elephant pissing and shitting.

History

[edit | edit source]

The trend started on the schlog at the hayday of Jimbo hate, where users would try to post grotesque images on Jimbo's profile to gross him out and make his profile page uglier. The elephant one eventually stood out, it was able to get Jimbo repulsed and became the most memorable. It consists of posting the video Elephant Video Funny | Bangladeshi Elephant Poop | Watch How Elephant Defecate On Bangladesh Streets from Youtube, where the main shock factor comes from the thumbnail itself showing the elephant in the middle of the act, as the victim would likely not even bother watching the video until the part where that happens. This trolling method became even more recognizable and popular on the shroom, where ample sharing and discussion of the video got made it used more broadly in the profiles of many other hated users and those some got flame wars with, the tatic then became widely accepted as shroom culture.
